Totally agree with the above messages. It is hard to find another runner in the world who competes at the highest level for so long, in so many different distances and surfaces. There's a huge difference between UTMB and 100km World Championship road running, not to mention his 100 mile time at TEC race of 12hr32 in 2010 whilst still managing to get top times and places at what must seem like sprint distances to him at Lidingöloppet, marathons and half marathons along the way.
The best thing for me about his UTMB race this year was that when the course was changed due to weather, whilst many others were complaining to the organisers, changing races etc, Jonas just got on with it and nailed it!
A similar guy in USA is Mike Wardian who is also as flexible and versatile with various distances and races, Mike is of superstar status in the US, and he is no where near as good as Jonas. But as Henrik said, "Men, han tävlar inte för uppmärksamhet verkar det som"
He has my total respect and admiration, certainly one of Sweden's top sportsmen!
