Hello, I am living in Sweden and like to run however I frequently get sharp pain in back of leg below the knee. I understand this is calf strain. Any tips how to avoid and solve this. Do I need medical advice, and where to turn to. I afraid I am only English speaking
Many thanks

Are you sure it is just a strain and not a muscle rupture?
A strain usually hurts over a bigger area around the muscle where a rupture only hurts directly on one spot
If it's just a strain it will most likely heal pretty quickly by itself if you avoid activities that puts pressure on the calv.
When the pain wears away you can probably start with slow runs again but stop immediatly if you feal any pain.

A rupture can heal in just a few days of resting if you are lucky. Weaks if you are unlucky.

To avoid strains and rupture in the future try and build strength in your calves by doing heal raises on daily routines.

If the problem isnt solves in a few weaks or if it keeps happening to you contact a physiotherapist.

Well, these are the common problems which a lot of people face when they travel to other countries. The https://www.assignmenthelper.com.au/assignment-help-melbourne/ have some courses which you can do before you go there.
