I had had a fracture in the tibia through winter, also delt with many people with fractures in the tibia over the years. It is one of the most common injuries you get as a runner. You need to take things very slowly and usually you have around 8 weeks before you can even think about running for 5 mins. But this also depends on the person and their recovery.
possibly the best thing you could do is have a moon boot (not to sure what it is called in swedish) this speeds up the recovery a lot quicker and if you see a good sports doctor that is one of the first things they would put you in.
usually even when it is completely healed you will still have pain for another month or so, but you need to make sure you have an x-ray before you start running again. Then when you do start with 3mins running 3mins walking and slowly build up from there. Depending on what cross training you have done during recovery will depend on the time back to fitness, but usually it is around 3 months before you are up to a decent mileage/training again.
Like Micke said, take it slowly! which is the hardest thing to do. Also limit the amount of stress on the foot, ie: walking etc as much as you can.
