You can transfer the Endurance Program from polarpersonaltrainer.com web service to the RCX5/RC3 GPS/RCX3 training computer. By default, the Program uses Polar default sport zones, which are calculated from your maximum heart rate. If you wish to use your own training limits rather than the default zones, you can edit the Program by entering the wanted training limits as beats per minute (=bpm) to each training phase. Do this before transferring the program to the training computer. This procedure applies also to phased targets you have created yourself.
In polarpersonaltrainer.com, you will see the time spent in sport zones. When opting to use your own limits, the accumulated time will still reflect the default sport zones. It is only if you are not using any training targets and you have changed the Sport Zone limits to bpm that the accumulated time is shown with your own limits.
It’s by design that you cannot edit the sport zones. This is because we at Polar make a commitment to you and want to ensure you improve your performance with the Polar Endurance Program. This commitment is tied to the default sport zones.
